120 women gathered at Council House on 5 September to enjoy the charm and humour and cooking of MICHAEL RANTISI of KEPOS STREET KITCHEN and KEPOS & Co. The food was delicious, the raffle draw was exciting and much money was raised to help change the lives of vulnerable women supported through MUM FOR MUM NCJWA. Birthing Kit Packing Day 2017 – Thank you to the 80+ wonderfully generous volunteers who packed 1,000 Birthing Kits that will be sent to women in developing countries through the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia. Also to Genna Radnan who spoke about Gennarosity Abroad, the charity she founded that educates and provides opportunities for women and girls in Karunga village in Kenya.

Celebrating Israel 2016 We were very pleased to welcome so many guests to a Cultural Narrative to mark the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of Resolution 181, the Partition Plan, on 29 November 1947, calling for the establishment of a Jewish State alongside an Arab State thus leading to the establishment of the State of Israel. Guest speakers were Alan Hoffmann, CEO and Director General, The Jewish Agency, Jerusalem, and Dorit Herscovici, Spokesperson and Political Affairs, Embassy of Israel, Canberra.
