The Rebbetzin Jana Gottshall Memorial Library was opened at Council House on November 29 2011, the gift of the late Rebbetzin’s family. The Library houses an outstanding collection of more than 300 volumes on Jewish women’s issues and covers a broad range on Jewish women’s place in religion, Jewish feminism, Jewish women’s life cycles, Jewish women in Israel, Agunot, Jewish women in the Holocaust and many other areas of interest such as Jewish women in the Arts.
