Join us for the next Zoom session in our online gatherings on Friday 25 September from 12.00pm – 1.00pm, a space where women in our community discuss subjects pertinent to our day to day lives. Ruth Shteinman
Ruth is a member of the executive committee at the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia NSW in Woollahra. There she heads the Days for Girls committee, coordinating volunteers in a community project devoted to making reusable sanitary pads for girls and women in developing countries. With the advent of Covid-19 she has successfully overseen the reconfiguration of this endeavour to the Make-At-Home Project.

Julie MacColl
Julie is the Careers, Community Service and Charity Coordinator at Ascham School where she manages a program for high school students to volunteer in various organisations. As community service is embedded in the Ascham curriculum, students learn the impact their time and service can have for the community, with some students volunteering after school for volunteer programs organised by Julie. Julie draws on her background in the Australian Defence Force and service industries to impart a passion for volunteering and connecting with community.
